BetterReader Alpha 1.5 released

The BetterReader Alpha 1.5 release is now available for download.

Changes:

• Added browser tool bar and clear browser button
• Factored treeview code out of main form
• Factored listview code out of main form
• Added per feed setting for item click action
• Fixed bugs in treeview dragdrop

BetterReader Alpha 1.4 Released

BetterReader Alpha 1.4 is now available. Another small release. I fixed an issue where the hotkey system wasn't working if the browser window had focus. I also added two hotkeys. The hotkeys supported now are:

'r' -- Mark all items in the currently selected feed read
'h' -- Toggles the 'Hide unread feeds' option
'm' -- Minimizes the app to the system tray

That's all. Not a critical upgrade but it's good to release often they say.

BetterReader Alpha 1.3 Released

Alpha 1.3 is up and ready. Some bug fixes and UI modifications. Nothing too major but it'll probably run a bit smoother for you than whatever older version you're running . . .

Home page updated

The BetterReader homepage has been updated with some scant explanation as to what makes BetterReader better. More to come . . .

This blog's purpose is to let users of the BetterReader RSS aggregator know when new updates are available as well as any other BetterReader related news.

Since BetterReader is currently in alpha there will no doubt be new releases fairly often.
